PE is a compulsory subject on the school curriculum alongside English and Maths.

What do we study?

Years 7 - 9

Football, Basketball, Cross Country, Cricket, Athletics, Netball, ZSoftball, Handball, Tennis, Hockey, Table Tennis, Rounders, Dodgeball, Ultimate Frisbee, Orienteering, 'Living Your Life Well'

Years 10 - 11 CORE

Football (11 and 5-aside), Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Dodgeball, Kingball, Netball, Table Tennis, Tennis and Weights


GCSE Components

58% practical (4 activities and analysis) 42% theory (90 minute paper)


BTEC Components

4 Units of Study, 1 Unit is assessed externally via a 60 minute on-line test
